Why install air valve and exhaust valve in sprinkler irrigation pipe system?
When the sprinkler irrigation pipe system starts to work, a part of air will often accumulate at the highest position of the system and the top of the pipe bulge. Even if there is no air at the beginning, the water will separate air during the flow. These air cannot be discharged at high places, which affects the water passing area on the one hand, and on the other hand, when the water flow rate increases, it will drive a part of the air to move in the pipe and cause hydraulic shock. In order to eliminate this phenomenon, these parts should be equipped with air valves to discharge air when the system is filled with water, and automatically close when the pipe is filled with water. The air is separated from the water, and when it accumulates to a certain extent, the air valve will automatically open again to discharge the air. In sprinkler irrigation systems with buried pipes, drainage valves should be installed at the lowest point of all levels of pipelines or in the recesses of the pipelines so that the remaining water in the pipelines can be emptied when not in use in winter to prevent frost heave damage.
